Chrome-plated radiator blanking plug with seal 1/2″

The chrome-plated 1/2-inch radiator blanking plug is used to close an unused threaded opening on a radiator. It is suitable for radiators and heating-system components with a compatible G 1/2″ female thread.

The integrated sealing O-ring is compressed against the radiator’s sealing surface when the plug is tightened. This provides a secure seal and simplifies installation, as additional sealing material is normally not required when the sealing surface is clean, flat and undamaged.

The fully chrome-plated finish provides a neat appearance and matches other chrome radiator connections, valves and accessories. The plug is suitable for replacing a damaged or leaking blanking plug or for closing a radiator connection that is not used for a valve, return connection or air vent.

Installation note

Switch off the heating system and release the system pressure before installation. Make sure that the thread and sealing surface are clean and undamaged. Tighten the plug evenly until the O-ring seals correctly. Do not overtighten, as this could damage the seal or thread.
