FAR 1200 angled radiator lockshield valve for steel pipe
FAR 1200 is an angled chrome-plated radiator lockshield and regulating valve for connecting a radiator to steel pipe. It allows the heating-medium flow to be shut off and adjusted for hydraulic balancing. Available in 3/8″, 1/2″, 3/4″ and 1″ sizes.
Product description
FAR 1200 is an angled radiator lockshield valve normally installed on the radiator return connection. It allows the flow to be shut off and adjusted for hydraulic balancing of an individual radiator.
Unlike the FAR 1100, which has an interchangeable connection for fittings for copper, plastic or multilayer pipe, the FAR 1200 has a threaded connection for steel pipe. Its angled design positions the radiator and pipe connections at 90 degrees.
The valve features a brass protective cap, a regulating stem with a double O-ring seal and a metal closing element with an additional O-ring seal. The radiator tailpiece is factory pre-sealed with Loctite® Dri-Seal® 5061, while an HPF seat provides sealing between the tailpiece and the valve body.
The valve is suitable for heating and air-conditioning systems using water or water-glycol mixtures. Its nominal pressure is 16 bar and its maximum operating temperature is 95 °C.
