KNM 3117 motor run capacitor 4 µF 450 V AC for Joannes burners

The KNM 3117 is a motor run capacitor with a rated capacitance of 4 µF and an operating voltage of up to 450 V AC.

It provides the phase shift required for the correct operation of a single-phase electric motor. It is used with FHP motors installed in compatible Joannes oil burners.

The capacitor is suitable as a replacement for Joannes 203553 – FHP electric motor.

In these burner versions, Joannes capacitor 203553 is used with the FHP electric motor. Larger or different burner models may use a capacitor with a different article number and capacitance.

The original KNM 3117 capacitor is marked with the following operating ratings:

400 V AC: stated service life of 30,000 hours
450 V AC: stated service life of 10,000 hours

The electrical connection is made through two flat spade terminals. A replacement capacitor must have the same 4 µF rated capacitance and a voltage rating of at least 450 V AC.
