Manual radiator air vent valve G 1/2 – chrome/white
The manual radiator air vent valve with a G 1/2 connection is designed to remove trapped air from radiators in hot-water heating systems. Air trapped in the upper part of a radiator can cause cold areas, uneven heating and noise during operation. Partially opening the bleed screw allows the air to escape before the valve is closed again.
The valve has a standard G 1/2 male parallel thread for installation into a compatible radiator connection. Its nickel-plated brass body provides strength and corrosion resistance, while the white plastic section directs discharged air and small amounts of water away from the radiator surface. An integrated rubber O-ring provides a secure seal during installation.
The bleed screw is operated manually using a flat-head screwdriver. Open the valve slowly and only far enough to allow the trapped air to escape. Close it carefully when water begins to flow steadily without air bubbles.
