Satronic 7236001 IRD flame detector connection cable – 300 mm

Satronic/Honeywell 7236001 is a connection cable designed to connect an IRD infrared flame detector to the electrical wiring or burner control system.

The detector end of the cable is fitted with a 3-pole angled female connector. The connector has three tubular contacts and two side locking clips for securing it to a compatible flame detector.

The other end has three free conductor ends for connection according to the wiring diagram of the burner and flame detector.

The cable is approximately 300 mm long. The manufacturer or replacement-part number is 7236001. This reference is used for a Satronic connection cable for IRD flame detectors.

IRD detectors monitor the flickering infrared radiation produced by a flame. The IRD 1010.1 is designed to monitor an oil-burner flame, while the IRD 1020.1 is used for oil or gas flames. This product is only the connection cable and does not include the flame detector.

The cable may also be used in certain Joannes burner versions, but only when the burner is equipped with a compatible Satronic/Honeywell IRD detector using the same 3-pole connector.

Important: This product is not a flame detector. Only the connection cable is supplied.

Important: Cable 7236001 is not the same as Joannes 201546, which is used for an oil-pump solenoid valve coil. This cable is intended for an IRD flame detector.

• the reference of the existing flame detector;
• the three-pole contact arrangement;
• connector shape and dimensions;

The cable is not suitable for photocells or flame detectors with a different connector, including certain Landis QRB1, Brahma FC8 or Danfoss LD versions. The detector used in Joannes burners varies according to the burner model and version.

Compatibility with Joannes burners

The product may be used with Joannes burners equipped with a compatible Satronic/Honeywell IRD flame detector.

Compatibility cannot be confirmed solely from the burner model, because different flame sensors and photocells were installed in different burner versions.

detector type, detector reference, connector shape and electrical wiring.

Electrical connection must be carried out by a suitably qualified person. The burner must be disconnected from the electrical power supply before any work is performed. The burner and flame-detector wiring diagram must be followed.
